Fake weed is very dangerous, especially when someone is trying it for the first time. The chemicals produce a mind-altering effect on the body, like the effects of marijuana. However, with the different chemicals mixed together, many individuals state how much more powerful this cannabinoid is, compared to marijuana.
Teens and young adults who use synthetic marijuana are more likely to abuse other drugs. Another major cause that fake weed can cause on young adults is the risk of unprotected sexual encounters and violent behavior.

If you are concerned about someone’s safety and health, and believe they are using fake weed, then you should be very cautious about this topic. Someone using fake weed, can be very agitated and annoyed when the topic comes up. Many family members and friends can sense being on edge or paranoia when someone is on fake weed. An individual who is coming down from it can also be scary. Their paranoia and anxiety may still linger hours afterward. It is safest to get them immediate attention, as fake weed can lead to more serious drug abuse and more years of being hooked on a stimulant that is very dangerous to the human body.
